Is Pumpkin Keto?

In moderation pumpkin is a perfectly fine part of a keto diet. Clocking in at 7g of net carbs per cup, when split across a full size dessert the carbs do not add up to very much. You can use pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon and salt to magnify the flavor of the pumpkin throughout the recipe.

Make sure to use Pumpkin Puree! Don’t get confused with other items like pumpkin pie filling that look similar to pumpkin puree. Many of these will have lots of added sugar compared to pumpkin puree which has none.
